  • Mike Kimball

    Owner

Mike launched High Mark Construction in 2018 with the goal of creating a top-shelf residential and commercial general contracting company focused on exterior renovations and restoration. He came to the endeavor with 20 years of experience in the fitness industry. It’s been an exciting path so far as the company is getting ready to open a third branch in Delaware. Mike attributes this growth to unmatched customer service and a commitment to always doing the right thing. He aims to expand into additional territories to create never-ending opportunities for employees to grow professionally and to provide more and more customers with exceptional results. Mike earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Finance from Towson University. He is a Licensed Public Adjuster and is a Haag Certified Inspector — a distinction for experts in the roofing industry.

  • Bill Healy

    General Manager, HMC Delaware

Bill leads multiple areas of the business, including operational improvement, revenue growth, and sales management. The transition to the contracting industry from a 20-year career in sporting goods was a smooth one for Bill. During that time, he sharpened his leadership, communication, and organizational skills, which High Mark benefits from today. Bill believes that leading by example is the most effective way to manage. His actions show the team that there is no job beneath anyone. He is always ready to lend a hand and go above and beyond for his customers. Bill earned a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from the University of Delaware.

  • Earl M. Edwards

    General Manager, HMC Lanham

Earl entered the construction industry as a co-founder and director for a real estate investment group in 2009. He oversaw the acquisition and management of distressed homes in MD/DC, before he shifted to sales and project management within the insurance restoration general contracting industry. This experience gave him a first-hand understanding of running the daily operations of an organization. Earl wears multiple hats at High Mark, Lanham. As the sales office manager, he has improved production systems, clarified policies and procedures with an emphasis placed on pleasing his customers. Coworkers rely on Earl as a go-to resource who provides guidance and encouragement with true caring and passion for team success. Earl earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Maryland, College Park, followed by a Master of Science in Medical Science at Pennsylvania State University, where he was a Dean’s Scholar. He earned a Graduate Certificate in Project Management from the University of Maryland, University College, and holds an MHIC Salesperson License.

  • RJ Keenan

    Construction Manager

RG entered the insurance restoration industry in 2015, where he began to form solid relationships with others in the field. He oversees all of High Mark’s construction projects and ensures all work is completed effectively and efficiently. Day to day he is guaranteeing that the highest standards are being met in all roofing, siding and gutter projects – and that the homeowners are absolutely happy with the results. RG has a way of communicating the process to the homeowner in terms they can understand. Whether the question is simple or complex, RG can answer it for them with confidence. The perfect day for RG is one where the customer sings the praises of the crew for their professionalism, respect for their homes and efficiency. RG graduated from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill with a degree in communications and minor in history and achieved the distinction of Haag Certified Inspector, which recognizes his expertise in the roofing industry.

  • Matt Olesky

    Production Manager

Before coming to High mark Construction in 2019, Matt already had more than a decade of experience in the construction industry. He spent time in the field as a general laborer, crew foreman and then project manager. In his current role, he is dedicated to making sure installations run smoothly. He finalizes work orders, procures materials, handles production scheduling, and coordinates with suppliers and construction managers to create a seamless customer experience. Although Matt’s primary goal is ensuring that the right people and the right materials are in place for efficient project completion, his numerous years of field experience make him a respected source of knowledge. He’s there to offer the team a second opinion when diagnosing a problem and can recommend a fresh solution.

  • Carly De Rosa

    Office Manager

From 2013 to 2019, Carly served in the Air National Guard, developing her sense of discipline and organizational skills from a very young age. Following her service, she was a production supervisor for an aircraft company where she oversaw approximately 100 employees in a high-stress environment. Those experiences have prepared her for anything that comes her way. Carly takes on a wide range of responsibilities, such as invoicing, inventory, employee licensing, and client relationship management — to name just a few. Whether on the phone or in person, Carly creates positive interactions with her attentiveness and attitude. She earned an Associate of Arts in General Studies at the Community College of Baltimore Essex, an Associate of Arts in Criminal Justice from the Community College of the Air Force, was a staff sergeant in the Air National Guard and received the Brigadier General Jimmy E. McMillian Outstanding Performer Award in Security Forces. She also holds a Personal Training Certification from the Community College of Baltimore County.

  • Abby Claborn

    Senior Training Specialist

When new employees join the team, their first week is spent with Abby. She trains each new Project Manager on every aspect of the job and expectations related to their work. New PMs are all set to hit the ground running, thanks to Abby! She also oversees the project management team to ensure that projects are on track and that any challenges are overcome. Abby’s ability to put others at ease has come through in her relationships with coworkers and customers. She loves educating others. Her best days are the ones when she sees a coworker’s face light up when something she has been teaching them clicks. She knows that she’s made a difference to that employee, which in turn enhances the customer experience.

  • Ed McMullen

    Executive Project Manager

For customers and coworkers alike, Ed is their go-to guy — a role he relishes because it allows him to help others every day. He may be the first person a customer meets, and other times he’s part of the support team behind the project managers, helping them to streamline the experience for customers whose home repairs may be covered by insurance if the damage was weather-related. Because Ed has such a thorough understanding of the restoration claims process, he can confidently speak to insurance adjusters on behalf of the homeowners to help them get the eligible repairs. Ed has been a part of High Mark Construction since its earliest days, which he describes as incredibly rewarding. He has seen how customers are so pleased and trusting that they eagerly recommend High Mark to neighbors, family and friends. That’s something he’s enthusiastic to be a part of.

  • Garrett Puryear

    Executive Project Manager

In the year 2021, Garrett Puryear began working for High Mark Construction. Garrett was ideal for his Project Manager position because of his vast expertise as a field marketer. His primary responsibility is to check the exteriors of homes and businesses and provide recommendations to the customers. He’s also in charge of overseeing the customer’s project and experience from start to finish. What makes Garrett’s job so fulfilling is when he can educate a customer on something they didn’t know or advise them on possibilities they weren’t aware of. Garrett is a great asset to the HMC team and a helpful counsel to our customers, with a motto of always being honest and treating others the way you want to be treated.

  • Patrick Bish

    Executive Project Manager

Patrick Bish, sometimes known as “Bish” around the office, has used the knowledge gained from his prior employment as an aide supervisor at an addiction treatment facility. He directs the same energy toward his interactions with each homeowner. Kind, understanding, and patient, he recognizes that managing the insurance process might feel difficult, and it is his responsibility to make it as simple as possible. When Bish isn’t working, you can find him playing rugby with his team or enjoying his favorite AHA while listening to Dave Matthews! “I make sure they know I am there to help, creating positive relationships goes a long way.” – Patrick Bish
